JEFFERY DALE LONG

Jeffery Dale Long, 56, met his Lord and Savior at his forever heavenly home on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  He was a resident of Manchester, TN.   He had grown up in Jasper, TN.   Jeffery was married to Melinda Stone Long and the son of the late James L. Long and Zoolah Mae Webb Long.    He had been employed with Twice Daily as the Store Manager.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Zoolah Long and nephew, Alex Long.

Jeffery leaves his memories to his soulmate and wife, Melinda Stone Long; sister, Carol Dallmann; brothers, Kenneth (Carol) Long and Jimmy (Claudia) Long; brother-in-law, Roy (Becky) Stone; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy Stone and Jane Stone; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Long, Laura (Chris) Sanders, Barry Long, Carter and Ryan Stone, Katie and Elena Stone; great-niece, Hannah Sanders along with years of friends.

He adored his wife, his family and most of all enjoyed spending time at their favorite places as to vacationing to the cabins in the mountains, going to Mentone and Helen, GA where they spent their honeymoon.   Jeffery was an avid fan of watching every sport possible along with University of Tennessee Vols, Atlanta Braves and Green Bay Packers.   He had a huge personality, a love for life and enjoyed being around people.  Jeffery will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

The family will have visitation on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm CDT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

Graveside service and interment will follow the visitation at Havron’s Chapel in Jasper, TN at 2:30 pm CDT with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.    Pallbearers are Charles Thurman, Todd Thomasson, Barry Long, Chris Sanders, and Roy Stone.   Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Webb, Woody Moree and Charlie Pilgrim.
