JEAN TRUNDLE

Jean Trundle, 91, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on October 5, 2025.  On July 24, 1934, Jean was born to Dillard Shadrick and Pearl Woodard Shadrick in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  She was married to Jack Trundle until his death.  Jean enjoyed going on trips and loved going on girl trips.  She enjoyed crocheting.  Having a very good sense of humor, she was a very good joke teller.  Jean was a wonderful mother and loved to keep her house clean.  She also loved cooking and spending time with her family.

Jean is preceded in death by her father, Dillard Shadrick; mother, Pearl Woodard Shadrick; husband, Jack Trundle; and brother, Charlie Shadrick.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, David M. (Bernadette) Trundle, Daniel W. Trundle; daughter, Susan Lenae (Bob) Artz; sister, Glenda Sue (Harry) Evans; grandchildren, Jack (Melissa) Trundle, Kimberly (Sean) Jordan, Carol (Michael) Fowler; great grandchildren, Jack Trundle, Jr., Mason Trundle, Nash Trundle, Harper Jordan, Michael Fowler, Benjiman Fowler, Emma Fowler, Moses Fowler; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm CST (5:00 to 9:00 pm ET) and on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST (12:00 Noon to 2:00 ET) at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm (2:00 ET) in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Chaplain Steve Allert officiating.

Jean will be laid to rest on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Peavine Baptist Church Cemetery in Rock Spring, Georgia immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Jack Trundle, Jack Trundle, Jr., Joshua Young, David Trundle, Wayne Trundle and Daniel Trundle.
