JASON O’NEAL KEEL
Jason O’Neal Keel, 44, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on Friday, January 12, 2024. On February 9, 1980, he was born to the late Frank Keel, Jr. and Wanda Smith Keel. Jason was married to Vanessa Willis Keel. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved Tennessee football, music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed watching his sons play football and wrestle. Jason’s family was his world. He was a very kindhearted and loving person.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, Frank Keel, Jr.; grandfathers, Frank Keel, Sr., Greely Smith; grandmothers, Bertha Keel, Wilma Griffith and Aunt Treva Davis.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Wanda Smith Keel; wife, Vanessa Willis Keel; sons, Mason Keel, Kason Keel; brother, Tracy McLemore and sister, Kim (Carl) Lawlor along with other family members and lifelong friend, Tripp Layne.
Visitation is Friday, January 19, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST and on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 11:00 to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services are on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
Jason will be laid to rest on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.
Pallbearers are Tracy McLemore, Carl Lawlor, Michael Hendon, Jeremy Logan, Von Currington and Tripp Layne.
