James A. Walden
James A. Walden, 81, of Kimball, Tennessee was called home on Monday, November 11, 2024. On January 9, 1943, he was born to the late Walter Walden and Helen Beeler Walden. James was married to Veda Walden. James served in the Army/National Guard and worked for Wheland Foundry before retiring. James was a very generous and big-hearted person. He spent his life taking care of his family and would always step up for the ones he loved. James loved to fish, hunt, spend time with family and friends, traveling to see new things, and his two cats. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
James is preceded in death by his father, Walter Walden; mother, Helen Beeler Walden; brothers, Gary Walden, William Walden, R. D. Walden; sisters, Naomil White and Catherine Galaway.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Veda Walden, son, Ricky Walden; daughters, Jammie Davis, Jean Swafford; brother, George Walden; sisters Dorothy Ridley, Margaret Phillips, Sharon Manasco; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation is Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services are on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm CT in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Bruce Parter officiating.
The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard will present Honors.
