James Avon Cagle

JAMES AVON CAGLE, 73 of South Pittsburg, TN, entered the gates of heaven on Friday, October 1, 2021.   James was married to the late, Mary Moats Cagle.  He was born on August 23, 1948 to the late Earnest and Eliza Massengale Cagle.   James had been employed as an electrician for the U.S. Stove Company.   He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.  He was a Coke memorabilia collector, enjoyed fishing and loved going to auctions.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Moats Cagle; parents, Earnest and Eliza Massengale Cagle; brothers, Charles Cagle, Nathan Cagle, and Leon Cagle; special cousin, Fred Cagle. 

James leaves his memories to his sons, Jimmy (Jamie) Cagle, Aaron (Sharon) Cagle; brother, Pete (Cordie) Cagle; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jacob) McCloud, Olivia Cagle and Ryan Cagle; great grandchildren, Jonah McCloud and Barrett McCloud; several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 6:00 pm CST at Kimball Tabernacle of Praise.
