HELEN IRENE HUGHES

Helen Irene Hughes, 77, of Sequatchie, Tennessee was called home on Sunday, December 4, 2022.  She was born on August 4, 1945, to the late Arthur Hughes and Vera Presnell Hughes.  Helen loved photography, hiking, camping and cooking.  She enjoyed flowers, loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren with her whole heart.  Helen had a huge personality and loved life.

Helen is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Hughes; mother, Vera Presnell Hughes; daughters, Winna Wampler, Donna Laws; and sister, Hazel Wilson.

She leaves all her precious memories to her son-in-law, Chip Wampler; brother-in-law, Roger Wilson; sisters, Elizabeth (Donald) Cassida, Jean (Homer) Robinson; grandchildren Danielle, Mandy, Autumn, C. J., Angela, Johnny; great-grandchildren, Trey, Hannah, Ava, Savannah, Brylee, Remington, John Barrett, McKenzie, Brayden, Donovan, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 5:00 pm CST, at Coppinger Cove Baptist Church, in Sequatchie, Tennessee with Pastor Chris Turner officiating.
