Helen Ruth (Barnes) Durham

Helen Ruth Barnes Durham, 81, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away Monday, April 29, 2018.

Helen was member of Richard City Baptist Church. She worked as a CNA at North Jackson Nursing Home and was a former employee of Hammers in South Pittsburg, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Montague Barnes and Mary Lee King Barnes; former husband Melton Durham; brothers, William Barnes and Buddy Barnes; granddaughter Jessica Durham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Thomas (Trisha) Durham, Raymond (Jennifer) Durham; daughter Linda S. Claxton; sisters, Dorothy Berryhill and Jewell (R.O) Blevins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. CST and Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 1:00 until time of Service.

Funeral Services will be held in the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at  2:00 p.m. CST with Bro. Owen Durham officiating.

Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
