HARLEY NEAL WEST

After a brief illness, Harley Neal West of Jasper TN, 59, gained his heavenly wings on Monday, March 7, 2022.   Harley was born on March 31, 1962 to the late, Harley Lee West and Vennie Whited West.   He was a well known construction worker, handy with heavy equipment, loved being the superintendent on his job and cherished his time spent working on his farm.   Harley was a “jack of all trades”.    Harley was of the Baptist faith and a member of Coppinger Cove Baptist Church in Sequatchie, TN. 

He loved music as he enjoyed playing several instruments however he favored playing his guitar.  Harley enjoyed leisure rides on his motorcycle.   He was a man that never met a stranger and he lived every day to the fullest.   Harley would do anything for anyone. 

He is preceded by his parents, Harley Lee West and Vennie Whited West.

His memories are left to his mother of his children, Christine Cordell; his closest friend, Missy Buffington; son, Ryan Lee West; daughters, Candace West, Samantha West and Bailey West; brother, Chip (Kathy) Ferguson; sisters, Sherry (Ray) Chace and Cindy (Jim) Lawson along with several nephews and friends.

The family will have visitation on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

Funeral service will follow the visitation in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home at 3:00 pm CST with Pastor Chris Turner and Roger Dale Pendergrass officiating.
