Glenn Roy Wilt

GLENN ROY WILT

The Lord called Glenn Roy Wilt, at age of 56 years old, to his heavenly home on Monday, June 15, 2020.  Glenn was born on October 2, 1963 in Colorado Springs, CO to his proud parents, Glenn Edward and Roberta Slocomb Wilt.    He had lived in Colorado and Florida for various years until he made his final home by settling in South Pittsburg, TN for the past sixteen years.  

Glenn had been self employed as a Licensed Master Electrician.     He was known for his handyman talents and could build anything with his hands.   Glenn was known for his love of his family and friends.  You never saw him without a smile on his face, a laugh in his voice and an amazing sense of humor.  His love for life was captivating.  During his pastime, Glenn enjoyed riding his motorcycles to see the adventures of God’s creation. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Edward Wilt.

Glenn leaves to cherish his memories are his mother, E. Roberta Wilt; significant other, Cindy Blevins; daughter, Ashley Wilt and brother, Roger Wilt. 

The family will have visitation on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm CDT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.  

A “Celebration of Life” will be held following the visitation at 2:00 pm CDT in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with special words of "his life" from his daughter, Ashley Wilt. 

The family will lay their loved one to rest at a later date.
