GLENN CHEAVES

Glenn Cheaves, 84, of Guild, Tennessee was called home on Monday, May 26, 2025.  On June 29, 1940, he was born to the late Roy Cheaves and Ora Poe Cheaves in Bryant, Alabama.  Glenn was married to Juanita Higdon Cheaves until her death.  He was employed by Porter Roofing Company as a Roofer until his retirement.  Glenn was a Life Master Bridge player, and an avid Texas Hold Em poker player.  He was a very outspoken person who loved spending time with his family and loved fishing.

Glenn is preceded in death by his father, Roy Cheaves; mother, Ora Poe Cheaves; wife, Juanita Higdon Cheaves; son, Tracey Cheaves; brothers, Cecil Cheaves, Jerry Cheaves, Howard Cheaves, Ray Cheaves, Billy Joe Cheaves, Russell Cheaves; sisters, Francis Wilson, Jeanette Theboaurex Cheaves, Carolyn Talley, and Betty Shepherd.

Left to cherish his memories are his nieces, Sharon Smith, Elizabeth Sexton Smith; great nieces, Christy Ramey, Heather Sexton, Rebecca Sexton, Holly Smith; great nephews, Joseph Ramey, Josh Talley, Craig Talley, Billy Talley; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family members and special friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
