Glen Stevens, 84, of Whitwell, Tennessee, previously from South Pittsburg, Tennessee, was called home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, Tennessee and married to Linda Nell Ramsey. On May 6, 1938, Glen was born to the late Charlie Stevens and Alice Cora Jordan Stevens. He enjoyed running, working outdoors in his flowers, gardening and loved his family and his grandchildren. He was retired from South Pittsburg Knitting Mill after many years of employment.
Glen is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Stevens, mother, Alice Cora Jordan Stevens as well as several deceased brothers and sisters.
He leaves all his memories to his wife, Linda Nell Ramsey Stevens; son, Tim (Glenda) Stevens; daughter, Glenda (Alan) Wilson; sister, Hady (Cecil) Sartin; grandchildren, Reece (Megan) Stevens, Kyleigh Pena, Cliff (Elizabeth) Wilson, Rebekah Wilson; great-grandchildren, Everly Stevens, Barrett Stevens, Gavin Pena, Rob and Barrett Wilson.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 3:00 pm CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Robert Caudill officiating.
Pallbearers are Tim Stevens, Alan Wilson, Reece Stevens, Cliff Wilson and Cecil Sartin.
