GLADYS F. EDDINGTON MCNABB

Gladys F. Eddington McNabb took the hand of her Lord early Saturday morning on March 14, 2020 at the age of 81 years old.   Gladys lived in Chattanooga, TN.   She was preceded in death by her son, James (Sam) McNabb; daughter, Leta McNabb Pittman; granddaughter, Brandie Forshee; mother, Sally Eddington; father, John Eddington; two brothers, Johnny and Bill Eddington, and her sister, Sheila Eddington.  Gladys has many to celebrate with today.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 63 years, James “JD” McNabb; daughter, Andrea (Denny) Gholston; several grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Izetta Eddington, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Gladys was also known as “Sissy” or “Granny”.  She was loved and adored by everyone that met her.  Heaven has a spunky little angel in its presence today.  She loved the Lord and was a member of Kelly’s Ferry Church of God.  She loved her family and we will miss her terribly.

The family will have visitation on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm CDT/4:00 pm to 9:00 pm EDT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.  

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11:00 am/12:00 noon at Tate Funeral Home with Brother Mike Williams officiating.

Gladys will be laid to rest following the funeral service at McNabb Cemetery in Jasper, TN.
