EVELYN MAXINE “MACKY” GREER

The Lord called Evelyn Maxine “Macky” Greer home on her 66th birthday on Sunday, February 2, 2020.   Maxine was born on February 2, 1954 to the late, Harry C. Hale and Evelyn Hardic Hale.    Maxine was born and raised in Guild, TN.  She moved to the South Pittsburg community in 1976 when she married her husband of 43 years, Samuel Thomas Greer, Sr.  Maxine was retired from Provident Insurance Company.

Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Evelyn Hale.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Samuel Thomas Greer, Sr; son, Samuel Thomas Greer, Jr.; brother, Larry Hale (Pam) and sisters, Barbara Hyatt, Brenda Wigfall (Jimmy) and Linda Allison (James) along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will have visitation on Thursday, February 6th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm CST with the funeral following in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home at 2:00 pm CST with Pastor George Greene officiating.  

Maxine will be laid to rest at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.
