EVA GRACE YOUNG

Eva Grace Young, 85, of Chattanooga, Tennessee was called home on Thursday, November 7, 2024.  On September 9, 1939, she was born to the late Samuel Earl Watkins and Letha Eva Dill Watkins.  Eva was of the Baptist faith and loved to cook.  She enjoyed working word puzzles and crocheting.  Eva was a very devoted mother and grandmother who raised 3 boys and several grandchildren.  She always looked out for everyone and had a huge heart.

Eva is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Earl Watkins; mother, Letha Eva Dill Watkins; husband, Loyal Young; son, Tony W. Young; brother, Hubert Watkins, Merle Watkins, and sister, Marilyn Walden.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Samuel Earl (Regina) Young, Randall Eugene Ramsey; sister, Carolyn Smith; grandchildren, Missy Carraway, Nikki Ramsey, Austin Barbee, Dakota Young, Kimberly Cordell, Makenzie Cordell, Jace Young, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation is Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm CST and on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 am CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 11:00 am CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor John Kilgore officiating.

Burial is on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Lakewood East Cemetery, in Chattanooga, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Dakota Young, Austin Barbee, Brent Edmond and James Oliver.
