EDWARD GRAHAM GHOLSTON

Edward Graham Gholston “Tub”,89, of Sequatchie, Tennessee was called home to Heaven on November 5, 2022.  Edward was born to Dennis Gholston and Myrtle “Irene” Fulfer Gholston on June 12, 1933.  He was retired from Sequatchie Handle Works where he was a Foreman.  Edward was a member of Sequatchie Baptist Church.  He was married to the love of his life, Melba Fuller for 62 years.  He loved his family with everything he had, and they were his whole life.  He loved gardening, hunting, the Atlanta Braves, church and reading his bible.  He loved joking with everyone.

Edward is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Gholston; stepfather, Harlan Dixon; mother, Myrtle “Irene” Fulfer Gholston; wife, Melba Fuller Gholston; son, Dennis Gholston; brother, John Gholston; granddaughter, Brandie Forshee.

He leaves his precious memories to his son, Kenny Gholston (Betty Dagnan); daughter, Sandy (Dale) Howard; sister, Janice (Bobby) Bowman; daughter-in-law, Andrea Gholston; grandchildren, Cheri (Mark) Moreland, Jeff (Kacie) Howard, Sheena (David) Havner, Brittany Gholston, Jared (Tessa) Gholston, Jada (Johnathan) Belk, Timothy (Hannah) Forshee, Jessica (Chris) Slatton, Jacob (Britney) Forshee, twenty-five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and several brother and sister-in-laws.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Wayne Bowman and Pastor Gene Fuller officiating.

Burial will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Jared Gholston, Jeff Howard, Timothy Forshee, Jacob Forshee, Mark Moreland, Mason Moreland and Johnathan Belk.
