ED WILLIAM BEENE

Ed William Beene, 82, of Whitwell, Tennessee was called home on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.  He was born to the late George Beene, Sr. and Dollie Lee Rhodes Beene on August 1, 1940.  He was married to his wife of fifty years Florence Beene.  He had been a Forklift Driver for Shaw Industries.  Ed loved fishing, watching western shows and spending time with his family.

Ed is preceded in death by his father, George Beene, Sr.; mother, Dollie Lee Rhodes; brother, Donald Ray Beene; sisters, Margaret Nell Beene and Martha Ellen Ledford.

He leaves his memories to his daughters, Lynda Beene, Debbie Beene; brother, George (Joanna) Matthew Beene, Jr.; sister, Wanda Sue (Charlie) Harrison, Sr.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor David Berry officiating.

Burial will be on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Harris Chapel immediately following the funeral service.
