DWIGHT L. McCRARY

Dwight L. McCrary, 69, of Whitwell, Tennessee was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 26, 2023.  On June 17, 1953, Dwight was born to the late Leroy McCrary and Edna Warren Eaton.  He was a member of Mineral Springs Church of God and worked for Sequatchie Handle Works.  He was married to the late Betty Baker McCrary.  Anyone that knew Dwight loved him immediately.  He loved watching Gospel shows and Murder Mysteries.  He loved music and could play almost any instrument.  Dwight was a father figure to his siblings, loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Dwight is preceded in death by his father, Leroy McCrary; mother, Edna Warren Eaton; wife, Betty Baker McCrary; daughter, Tonya McCrary Corley; brothers, Doyle “Doddy” McCrary and Dana “Dane” McCrary.

He leaves his memories to his brothers, Terry Nerche, Dwayne McCrary; sister, Mary Catherine Shoulders; grandchildren Miranda (Chris) Payne, Brook (Jesse) McFalls; great grandchildren, Sean and Aubree McFalls.

Visitation is Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm CST and on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 12:00 Noon CST in the Parlor of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Adam Ramsey and Pastor Chris Van Allman officiating.

Burial will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tn immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Jessie Harp, Charles Shoulders, Jeremiah Mason, Blake Nerche, Jesse McFalls and Rick Corley.
