DRUCILLA “SHELIA” TUDERS KENNEDY

Drucilla “Shelia” Tuders Kennedy, 72, of Haletown, Tennessee but she resided in Whitwell, Tennessee, was called home on Thursday, November 16, 2023.  She was born to the late A. C. L. Tuders and Ruby Geer Tuders on September 17, 1951.  She had been married to Mr. Robert Kennedy for fifty-three years.  She worked for WEPG and became a homemaker, everyone called her “Ms. Shelia.  Shelia liked doing crafts of all kinds.  She loved to crochet and enjoyed working in small gardens and canning.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Shelia is preceded in death by her father A. C. L. Tuders; mother, Ruby Geer Tuders and brother, Acel Tuders.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Robert Kennedy; son, James Kennedy; daughter, Sherry (Wesley) Dixon; brother, Joel (Vicky) Tuders; grandchildren, Candy (Shane) Moore, Brittany Green, Courtney (Daniel) Gilbert, James Dixon, Jr., eight grandchildren and many other family members and special friends.

The family will have a memorial service on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

The family will have a private interment at Layne’s Chapel, Whitwell, Tennessee.
