DOROTHY STANDLEY

Dorothy Standley, 79 of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on Saturday, November 18, 2023.  She was born to the late Homer Lee Green and Mary Elizabeth Barnes Green on September 11, 1944.  She was married to the late Jack Standley.  Dorothy loved plants, gardening and she enjoyed her cookbooks.  Dorothy loved all her boys very much and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her father, Homer Lee Green; mother, Mary Elizabeth Barnes Green; husband, Jack Standley; brothers, James Green and Leroy Green.

She leaves her memories to her sons, Tony Graham, Michael Graham, Gary Graham, Troy Graham; sisters, Barbara Carver, Jenny Hawkins; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren along with many other family members and special friends.

The family will hold visitation on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon CST, at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 12:00 Noon CST, in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor David Berry officiating.

Dorothy will be laid to rest at Stevenson City Cemetery in Stevenson, Alabama immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be family members.
