DOROTHY ELLEN BLUE, 80, of Jasper, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Dorothy loved her family and loved taking care of her husband, Rodney. She loved to cook and made the best banana nut bread ever! She loved to collect tea pots and loved her dog, Nasty.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Matland; sons, Rodney Blue, Jr. and Robert Wayne Blue; and sister, Peggy Hinton.

Dorothy leaves her memories to her husband, Rodney L. Blue; sons, Steven (Sandra M.) Blue and Jeffery Scott Blue; brother, John Matland; sisters, Pat Matland and Phyllis McKinsey; grandchildren, Chad and Amy Blue, Jeffery Scott Blue, Jr., Tabitha Blue, Brittney Blue, and Robert Wayne Blue, Jr.; and four great grandchildren.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
