DONNA VANIA BISHOP

On Monday, May 24, 2021, Donna Vania Bishop, 58, gained her heavenly wings to join her Lord in heaven.   Donna had been a resident of Hollywood, AL for the last sixteen years.   She was born on October 14, 1962 to the late Cecil E. Bishop and Ola Ann Jones Bishop.   Donna had been an employee for Shaw Carpet Industry as an operator.    She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Shiloh Primitive Church.

She loved her family along as loving her cats.    She was a collector of salt and pepper shakers along with collecting watches and other things she found at yard sales and flea markets.  During her spare time, she enjoyed to read.  

Donna leaves her memories to her love of her life, Roy McCanless; sister, Vanessa Bishop; aunt, Lillie Bishop; cousins, Rhonda Bishop Whitener and Janet Jones along with a host of beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil E. Bishop and Ola Ann Jones Bishop.

The family will visitation on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

There will be a graveside service following the visitation at 3:00 pm CT at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN with Pastor Mansel L. Brown officiating.

Pallbearers are Daniel McCanless, Freddie McCulley, Ricky Belk, Blake Turner, Phillip Collins, Timmy Davenport, Patrick McCanless and Mark Whitener.
