DONALD “DON” DOUGLAS BURK

Donald “Don” Douglas Burk, 51, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 3, 2025.  On June 8, 1973, he was born to George Burk and Janice Womack Burk.  Don was married to Heather Bowers Burk for 25 years.

He loved cooking and enjoyed being outside with his children.  Don loved TN Vols football, but more than anything he loved his children, family and grandchildren. 

Don is preceded in death by his mother, Janice Womack Burk; mom, Delores Bowers; son, Tanner Lee Douglas; and sister, Sherrye Garvich.

Left to cherish his memories are his father, George Burk; wife, Heather Bowers Burk; son, Jeremiah (Victoria) Burk, Davin Burk; daughters Michelle (Will) Beavers, Cassandra Burk; brother, Bill (Angie) Burk; sisters, Nannette (Kenny) Ivy, Hiedi (Jacob) Adams, Holly (Chaffie) Cooper; grandchildren, Carlee, Connor, Tucker Beavers, Serenity Burk-Adams, Wyatt Burk, Jenna Adams, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm CT (5:00 to 9:00 pm ET) at New Beginnings Church in Jasper, Tennessee.

There will be a private graveside service with immediate family only on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm CT (3:00 pm ET) at Orme Cemetery in Orme, Tennessee.

Pallbearers are Jeremiah Burk, Davin Burk, Jacob Adams, Hunter Adams, Chaffie Cooper, and Big Jacob Adams.
