DIANA LYNN SMITH

The angels guided Diana Lynn Smith, 68 yrs. old, to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 30, 2021.   Diana resided in Sequatchie, TN and was of the Baptist faith.   Diana was born on March 20, 1952 to her parents, James and Katherine Smith.    She was married to the late Paul Smith.   Diana had been employed with J & M Specialties Overhead Doors as the office manager.     

She loved the NBA Lakers along with all other sports.   She had played basketball in her younger years, she loved enjoying God’s great creation of the outdoors and most importantly she loved her children and grandchildren.

Diana is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Smith and her parents, James T. and Katherine Smith.

Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jamie Ellis, Kevin Smith and Dustin Smith; brother, Gary (Vicky) Smith; sisters, Shirley Watts and Donna (Brad) Hicks; grandchildren, James and Dakota Ellis, Aaron, Nylan and Sissy Smith; several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

The family will have visitation on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

The graveside service will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm CT at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, TN with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
