DELORES FAYE HANKINS
Delores Faye Hankins, 81, of Jasper, Tennessee went home to be with our Lord, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Delores was born to the late J. D. Quarles and Hazel Cates Quarles on January 22, 1941. She was of the Baptist faith, was a good cook, loved family dinners and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She retired from the Marion County School System.
Delores is preceded in death by her father, J. D. Quarles; mother, Hazel Cates Quarles; brothers, Bobby Quarles and Joe Larry Goforth.
She leaves her memories to her son, Barney (Janice) Swafford; daughters, Tommie Curtis, Vivian Lovelace, Cynthia Brooks; brother, Benny Don Quarles; sister-in-law, Herlene Quarles; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold visitation on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST and on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jimmy Holtzclaw officiating.
Pallbearers are Mike Petruck, Tray "T. J." Parsons, Ronnie Swafford, Johnny Sisk, Blake Hayes and Jason Seagroves.
