DELBERT “REED” HOWARD JR.

Delbert “Reed” Howard Jr., 70, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee was called home on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. He was born to the late Delbert Reed Howard, Sr. and Lois Virginia Brewer Howard on October 10, 1952. He was a Mechanic at Wheland Foundry for many years. A Proud Veteran who loved to fish, ride his motorcycle, play guitar and listen to country music. Reed was a very humble person who loved spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Delbert Reed Howard, Sr.; mother, Lois Virginia Brewer Howard; wife, Darlene Kirk and brother, Robbie Howard.

He leaves all his memories to his daughter, Michelle (Shilo) Mitchell; brother, Ronny Howard; sisters, Cathy Broome, Debbie Howard, Jerry Lambert, Luci Zybrinki; grandchildren, Ally Benoit, Brock Benoit and several bonus grandchildren and many Nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor David Berry officiating.

Burial will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at New Hope Cemetery, New Hope, Tennessee immediately following the Funeral service.

Pallbearers are Patrick Brent Cannon, Robert Lewis Padgett, Jr., Jonathon Wiley Sims, William Clinton Sims, Joseph Christian Sims and Kamden Wellington.
