DEBRA JOYCE PAYNE

Debra Joyce Payne, 72 of South Pittsburg, Tennessee was called home on August 1, 2025.  On June 1, 1953, she was born to the late Joseph Earl Payne and Mary Joyce Troutman Payne in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  Debra was a quality auditor for Rock Tenn in Jasper, Tennessee for many years.  She loved working crossword puzzles, Pirate football, being with her family and she especially loved hanging out with her grandson, Taylor.

Debra is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Earl Payne; mother, Mary Joyce Troutman Payne; maternal grandparents, Doyle and Dora Mae Troutman; paternal grandparents, Adam T. and Frances M. Payne.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Heather (Aaron) Bolton; grandchildren, Taylor Ramsey, Mallorie Dillon, Alexzondra “Ally” (Bain) Ramsey, Hannah Kelley, Heath Kelley; sister, Glenda Hill; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation is Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 1:00 to 8:00 pm CST and Thursday, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Tony Tuders officiating.

Debra will be laid to rest on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Robert Casteel, David Payne, C. J. Colon, Eric Colon, Terry Pass and Taylor Ramsey.
