DEBRA JETTON QUARLES BENNETT
Debra Jetton Quarles Bennett passed from this earth to Heaven on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. She was a beautiful, kind-hearted person, who always cared about others more than herself.
Debra was born on January 25, 1954, to Jack and Patsy Quarles. She grew up in Jasper, Tennessee and graduated from Marion County High School as Salutatorian of the class of 1972. Debra married Steve Bennett on June 1, 1974, and had her daughter Shannon on November 25, 1981. She was a Christian and member of the First Baptist Church of Jasper.
Her life’s work was taking care of her family. Debra was always there for her daughter’s numerous activities and was an encourager to many. She was a great cook, took her family to appointments, sent cards to brighten someone’s day, enjoyed yard selling, loved being Santa to kids in need, and made holidays and birthdays special. She wanted others to know they were cared for and loved.
Debra is survived by her husband and a daughter and lots of family and friends. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Marion County Food Bank or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
