Deborah "Debbie" Lee (Hartline) McCrary

DEBORAH “DEBBIE” LEE HARTLINE MCCRARY passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday, October 30, 2021.  Debbie was of the Baptist faith and a member of Midway Baptist Church.  She taught several years at Richard Hardy School.  She began playing the piano at a young age with her father as the music minister and continued to play for decades.  Debbie was a positive influential role in the community, working with teenagers, women’s ministries, and Shoes for Orphan’s Souls.

Debbie was the epitome of a loving mother and wife.  All that knew her, knew she loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart.  She dedicated her life to teaching His word and telling others about the gospel of Jesus Christ.  She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but thanks be to God, “We do not mourn as those without hope.”

She is preceded in death by her father, Walter E. Hartline and brother, Aaron Keith Hartline.

Debbie leaves her many memories to her husband, John McCrary; mother, Mary Hartline; sons, Sidney and Seth McCrary; daughters, Elizabeth and NataLee McCrary; brothers, Mike (Carrie) Hartline and Greg (Kim) Hartline; sister, Janet (Jason) Middlebrooks; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have visitation on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home.  Also on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 9:00 am CST to 11:00 am CST.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 11:00 am CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Pastor David Grisham officiating the service.

Pallbearers are Nathan Middlebrooks, Brian Hartline, Scott Smith, Tracy Ferguson, Will Krizanovic, and Nicholas Shook.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.
