DAVID SILVA

David Silva, 69 of Jasper, TN, left this earth on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.    He was born on June 1, 1953 to David Cleveland Silva and Ida Abbott Silva in Apalachicola, FL.   David worked in the auto parts business for most of his adult life with the majority of those years with Napa Auto Parts.   He spent 10 years serving his community of Apalachicola, FL as a fire fighter and first responder. 

David loved sports with Miami Hurricanes being his favorite team.  He had played men’s softball league until he was 40 years old.  His favorite pastime was sharing the great stories about his friends on the team.   David was such a loving, caring man and was loved by many, especially the highlights of his life, his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, David C. Silva of Apalachicola, FL.   

David is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jan Cagle Silva (Jasper, TN); mother, Ida Silva (Apalachicola, FL); sisters, Martha Pace (Apalachicola, FL), Lucille (Bobby) Saker (Cairo, GA) and Sylvia (Red) Sisemore; brother, John (Angel) Silva of Apalachicola, FL; daughters, Shannon (Troy) Segree (Apalachicola, FL), Erin (Tray) Adams (Jasper, TN) and Abbie (Ronnie) Presnell (Jasper, TN).  Six grandchildren who loved him dearly, Trace, Elyssa, Amberleigh and Tru all of Jasper and Hannah and Adrian of Apalachicola, FL along with several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
