DARA LEA MITCHELL HOWELL

Dara Lea Mitchell Howell, 53, of Whitwell, Tennessee was called home on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  On October 27, 1969, she was born to the late Thomas Andrew Mitchell and Willy Raulston Mitchell.  Dara was a homemaker and married to David Howell.  She loved horses, her family, spending time with them and her grandchildren.  Dara enjoyed flowers, camping, fishing and had a great sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Andrew Mitchell; mother, Willy Raulston Mitchell; son, Eric Veal; brothers, Roy (Neda) Mitchell and Mark (Doris) Mitchell.

She leaves all her memories to her husband, David Howell; sons, Brandon (Sara) Slaney, Dustin (Lauren) Slaney, James Smith, David (Cecelia) Howell, Cody (Lacey) Bivens, Adam (Mary) Payne, Jonathan (Kellie) Howell; daughter, Dakota (Nicholas) White; and many grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm.

A memorial service will be on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 4:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Arndt officiating.
