DANIEL C. McCALLIE
Daniel C. McCallie, 71, of Kimball, Tennessee was called home on November 29, 2022. On September 6, 1951, he was born to the late Harold Bledsoe McCallie and Cecial Rose Folks McCallie. Daniel was married to Mary Joyce Stewart McCallie and was a Carpenter for Sequatchie Concrete Service. He collected ships, loved fishing and having fish fry’s. He loved gardening and everyone loved getting his tomatoes. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Harold Bledsoe McCallie; mother, Cecial Rose Folks McCallie; brothers, C. W. McCallie, Harold McCallie; sisters, Juanita Hogwood and Rebecca Guess.
He leaves his memories to his wife, Mary Joyce Stewart McCallie; son, Joseph McCallie; stepson, Bradley Parker; stepdaughter, Michelle Holt; brother, Bill (Lois) McCallie; sisters, Helen Wynn, Edna Givens, Betty (Eddie) Vincent, Mary Wilson, Linda Hart; grandchildren, Evan McCallie, Deven Parker, Nequita Holt, Brandon Holt; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, and on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 9:00 to 11:00 am CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services are on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 11:00 am CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tennessee with Brother David Gudger officiating.
Burial will be on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.
