CONRAD "CONNIE" RAY BOWMAN
The Lord placed His Hand in the hand of Conrad "Connie" Ray Bowman, 76, to guide him to his forever heavenly home on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Connie was a lifelong resident of Jasper, TN and a man that everyone knew and loved in the community. He was born on September 9, 1945, to the late, Leon Bowman and Mable O'Neal Bowman.
Connie had been self-employed for over 55 years with his wrecker service business, "Connie Bowman’s Wrecker Service". He had a love of life; he adored and worshiped his family along with spending quality time with them. You never saw Connie without a huge smile and a story to tell. Connie was an avid lover for "hot rod cars". He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Bowman and Mable O'Neal Bowman and brother, Sam Bowman.
Connie leaves his memories to his son, Chris Bowman; brothers, Robert "Bobby" (Janice) Bowman and Bill (Jane) Bowman; grandson, Christopher "C.J." Bowman, along with several nieces, nephews and host of friends.
The family will have visitation on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST and Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.
Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home following the visitation at 12:00 noon CST with Pastor Wayne Bowman officiating.
Pallbearers are Chris Bowman, C.J. Bowman, Bobby Bowman, Robbie Blevins, Steve Tate, Mitchell Shell, Rodney Springs, Rodney Kilgore and Andy Cooper.
Connie will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.
