CHARLOTTE SMITH

 

Charlotte Smith, 82, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 29, 2023.  On May 16, 1941, she was born to the late Joe Howard and Mary Bryant Muir.  Charlotte attended Grace Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  She was married to the late James C. Smith, Sr. and had always been a housewife.  Charlotte loved music, especially Elvis.  She was the best Bingo player, enjoyed playing Solitaire and reading.  Charlotte loved spending time with her family and was always feisty in nature.

 

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, Joe Howard; mother, Mary Bryant Muir; husband, James C. Smith, Sr.; daughter-in-law LeeAnn Smith; brother, Bobby Howard; and sister Martha Henry.

 

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Joel Smith, James C. Smith, Jr., Bobby (Debbie) Smith; daughter Merrie (Terry) Johnson; sisters, Linda Nelson, Brenda Wilson with several other family members and special friends.

 

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
