CHARLIE DAVID SHADRICK

Charlie David Shadrick, 84, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on Sunday, April 2, 2023.  On January 12, 1939, Charlie was born to the late Dillard Shadrick and Pearl Woodard Shadrick.  Charlie gave thirty-two years of service working as a Sherriff's Deputy and when he left the Police Force he left as a Lieutenant in rank.  He loved his grandchildren, cats, dogs, motorcycles and loved spending time at the river fishing.  He loved all his family and enjoyed spending time with them and his friends.  He especially enjoyed playing pool with his best friend.

Charlie is preceded in death by his father, Dillard Shadrick; mother, Pearl Woodard Shadrick; wife, Mattie Lee Davis Shadrick and son, John Dillard Shadrick.

Left to cherish his many memories are his son, Jimmy (Tammy) Shadrick; daughter-in-law, Michele (Marion) Lane; sisters, Jean Trundle, Sue (Harry) Evans; granddaughter, Chrystal (Brad) Dunn; great grandchildren, Bailey and Kaitlyn Dunn.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 1:00 to 8:00 pm CST and on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

Burial will be on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Shadrick, Brad Dunn, Ken VanDyke, Steven Saddler, Billy Bryant and Roman Lawson with the Honorable pallbearer, Marion Lane, Bailey and Kaitlyn Dunn.
