CHARLES WILLIAM WHITE, Sr.

Charles William White, Sr., 74, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 18, 2023.  He was born to the late William Thomas White and Pauline Smith White on November 9, 1948.  He was married to Diane Kirk White and attended Baptist Hill Church in Jasper, Tennessee.  Charles enjoyed golf, fishing and cheating at Rook!  He loved UT and was a huge fan.  He was an avid gardener, loved to cook, eat, vacation and spend time with his family.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, William Thomas White; mother, Pauline Smith White; son, Charles White, Jr.; brothers, Jerry Don White, Ricky Joe White and Thomas Edward White.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Diane Kirk White; son, Travis (Patricia) Reed; daughter, Tanya LaTour (Dawn Anderson); sisters, Mary Frances Shoemake, Margaret Diane Haley; grandchildren, Timothy (Valerie) White, Luke (Faith) White, Mitchell LaTour, Tyler Reed, Carson Reed, Evan Reed; great-grandchild, Hali White.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Steve Seller and Pastor Davaughn Richardson officiating.

Pallbearers are Barnard Shoemake, Samuel “Speedy” Shoemake, Kenny Catlett, Jim Blevins, Justin Ireland and Jeremy Shaffer.
