CECIL MITCHELL MCNABB, SR.

Cecil Mitchell McNabb, Sr., 71, of Whiteside, TN was called home to be with the Lord Jesus January 16, 2024. He was born to the late Carroll McNabb and Leatha Austin McNabb on December 15, 1952. Cecil worked for many years at Roper Manufacturing. He had a deep appreciation for nature and spending time outdoors. He had a passion for tracing his family’s heritage. Cecil loved and cared for his family and friends, but most importantly he loved Jesus. He ministered to the homeless and the broken, many referring to him as “Preacher.” Cecil was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He was witty and had a really big heart for helping people.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carroll McNabb; mother, Leatha Austin McNabb and brother, Bruce McNabb.

Cecil leaves his precious memories to his sons, Mitchell McNabb, Jr., Jared McNabb; daughter, Lashon (Germi) Cloud; brothers, Randy McNabb, Jerry McNabb; sisters, Carolyn (Lawrence) Hunt, Shirley (Roy) Gouger, Tina (Randy) Payne; grandchildren, Brandon Cloud, Hannah Belle Cloud, Alex Cloud; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee and on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper Tennessee.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 12:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home.

Burial will immediately follow funeral service going to Hooker Cemetery in Wildwood, Georgia.

Pallbearers are Germi Cloud, Brandon Cloud, Alex Cloud, Greg Gouger, Doug Gouger and Coby Payne
