CAROLYN ANN WEST

Carolyn Ann West, 87, of Jasper, Tennessee, a devoted mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of Christ, entered her eternal rest on December 12, 2025.  Born in Stevenson, Alabama, Carolyn lived a life marked by love, service, and unwavering faith.  She was married to Paul Eugene West, Sr. until his death. Carolyn worked for many years at the Marion County Courthouse and was a cherished member of the Kimball Church of Christ, where her dedication to the Lord was evident in all she did.  Carolyn’s life was a testament to the words of Scripture: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”  Her kindness, strength, and devotion to her family and church will continue to inspire all who knew her.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through her family.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Robert Glover; mother, Gladys Lorene Hackworth Glover; husband, Paul Eugene West, Sr.; and daughter, Teresa Looney.

Left cherish her memories are her son, Gene (Elizabeth) West; David West, Paul (Lucy) West; daughter, Holly Henegar; brother, Jerre (Shirley) Glover; sister, Judy Blevins; son-in-law, Tim Looney along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews who will forever treasure her memory.

Visitation is Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Billy Watkins officiating.

Carolyn will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Brett Looney, Bartt Looney, Tristan West, Austin West, Carter West and Alex Kirkendoll.
