CAROLYN LOUISE HOWARD

Carolyn Louise Howard, 75, of Whitwell, Tennessee was called home on Saturday, June 21, 2025.  On July 21, 1949, she was born to the late Jim Howard and Mildred Kindred Howard in Stevenson, Alabama.  Carolyn had worked for Rivoli Mills before she retired.  She loved her children and grandchildren, being a very dedicated and loving mom to them.  She was known to have a “Stubborn Streak”, and she loved any song by Elvis Presley.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Jim Howard; mother, Mildred Kindred Howard; daughter, Jamie Smith; brothers, Jackie L. Howard, Sr., J. C. Howard and Darwin Howard.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jackie (Rebecca) Howard, Jr., Christopher Howard; grandchildren, Austin Howard, Brycen Howard, Mady Kilgore, Carly Kilgore, Greyson and Kaden Smith; great grandchildren, Oaklee Howard, Harper Howard; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
