BONNIE FAYE COOPER

Bonnie Faye Cooper, 90, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 10, 2024.  Faye was born on December 18, 1933, to the late Elvin Griffith and Mrytle Layne Griffith.  She was married to the late Herbert “Poodle” Cooper.  Faye was a member of Sulphur Springs Methodist Church.  She loved flowers, traveling and cooking.  Faye loved and enjoyed being with her family.  

Faye is preceded in death by her father, Elvin Griffith; mother, Mrytle Layne Griffith; husband, Herbert “Poodle” Cooper; brothers, Hershel Griffith, Hoyt Griffith, Elvin Griffith, Jr. and sister, Velma Snipes.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, George (Beth) Cooper, Terry (Debbie) Cooper, Andy (Tanya) Cooper; grandchildren, Brian Cooper, Jessica Delgado, Ashley Sanford, Jarred Cooper, Jessica (Larry) Moffett, Tiffany (Delford) Hughley, Riley Cooper, Lindsay (Derek) Ladd; eleven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.  Special thanks to Faye's sitters for all the love and kindness shown, Cynthia Scott, Amy Ragan, Becky Orzor and Charlotte Smith.

Visitation is Friday, June 14, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm CST and on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 12:00 Noon CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Cecil Baxter and Pastor Brenda Woods officiating.

Faye will be laid to rest on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Riley Cooper, Gene West, Scott Evans, Andy McGowan, Howell Moss and Jim Parker.
