BOBBY LEE SMITH

Bobby Lee Smith, age 79, was called home on Friday, June 19, 2020.  He was a retired coal miner, loving husband and devoted father.   He was the son of the late Pleas and Rebecca (Dudley) Smith of Pisgah, AL.

He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-four years, Helen Melton Smith; his youngest daughter, Bobbie Jo Smith Long of Jasper, TN; granddaughters, Shandra King of Jasper, TN and Jennifer King Carter of Chatsworth, GA and his brothers, Billy and Jim Smith both of Pisgah, AL.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Christy (Don) Ellis of Kimball, TN, Sherry (Terry) Helton of Summerville, GA, Teresa (Robert) Anderson, of Panama City, FL; his son, Dewayne (Sue) of Tullahoma, TN, his twin sister, Johnnie Smith of Pisgah, AL; brother, Tom (Edna) Smith of Flintstone, GA; his companion and friend, Pat Guy and her family; twelve grandchildren and three step grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Bobby’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be a private family memorial service.
