BILLY GENE THOMAS

Billy Gene Thomas, 81, of Whiteside, Tennessee was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 3, 2025.  On June 18, 1943, he was born to the late Jessie Monroe Thomas and Lou Ella Owens.  Billy was married to Anita Mills Thomas.  He worked as a Maintenance Employee for Chattanooga Bakery until his retirement.  Billy loved being outdoors, working in his garden, woodworking and doing puzzles.  He was a very simple man who enjoyed life with his family and loved them very much.

Billy is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Monroe Thomas; mother, Lou Ella Owens along with several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Anita Mills Thomas, son, Stacey Thomas, daughter, Scarlett (Clint) Carter, brother, Jerry (Marie) Thomas, grandchildren, Michelle Melton (Jon Davis), Austin Melton, Desi and Angel Carter; great grandchild, Maeve Melton; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

There will be a private graveside service at Lakewood Memory Garden in Lookout Valley, Tennessee at a later date.
