BETTYE ELIZABETH LOWE
Bettye Lowe, 82, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2023. Bettye was born to the late Roy L. Lewis and Lillian Helen Holloway Lewis on June 10, 1941. She was a homemaker and also owned her own business as a seamstress. She was a great person, kind and caring, always thinking of others before herself. She loved her family and grandchildren. Bettye loved to read, do word puzzles, loved to watch hummingbirds on her back porch and she loved flowers.
Bettye is preceded in death by her father, Roy L. Lewis; mother, Lillian Helen Holloway and sister, Sue Dean.
She leaves her memories to her husband James Edward Lowe; daughter, Donna (Steve) Russell, son, James E. (Karen) Lowe; daughter, Trina (Arnold) Kirk; brother, Ronnie (Sybil) Lewis; sister, Brenda (Lane) Jones; grandchildren, James (Kendrea) Lusk, Kristen (Daniel) Sneed, Erika Grant, Brandon (Anna) Kirk; several great-great grandchildren; great-great-great grandchild along with several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation is Friday, December 29, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm CST, and on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home, in Jasper, Tennessee.
The funeral service will be Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Ryan Dupree officiating.
She will be laid to rest on December 30, 2023, at Sequatchie Valley Memeorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.
Pallbearers are James Lusk, Ryan Dupree, Lane Jones, Jeremy Owens, Christopher Crowe and Jeffery Crowe.
