BETTY SPRINGS
Betty Springs, 80, of Whitwell, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2023. On March 12, 1943, she was born to the late S. E. Springs and Evalena Shelton Springs. Betty attended New Hope Baptist Church in New Hope Tennessee. She enjoyed flowers, spending time with family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, S. E. Springs; mother, Evalena Shelton Springs; brothers, Elbert Springs, A. W. Springs, Percy Don Springs, James Peachum Springs; sister, MaryEtta Melvin; sister-cousin, Vitula Yarber.
Betty leaves all her memories to her son, Vincent (Kayla) Springs; daughters, Geraldine Springs, Kelli Springs; brother, Ulysses C. (Sharon) Springs; sisters, Norma Reynolds, Beverly Patrick; grandchildren, Jennifer Springs, Lyndsay (Chevin) Hunt, Derrick (Allison) Springs, Blake Springs; special friend, Mabel Reid; nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation is Monday, June 19, 2023, from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home, in Jasper, Tennessee.
There will be a graveside service Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST at McWilliams Cemetery in Whitwell, Tennessee with Pastor Larry Owens officiating.
Pallbearers are Vincent Springs, Blake Springs, Derrick Springs, Kelli Springs, Geraldine Springs, Rodney Springs and Wayne Patrick.
