BARBARA “SISSY” JEAN ROGERS

As the angels took her hand, the Lord called Barbara “Sissy” Jean Rogers to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 8, 2020.    Barbara was 47 years old and a lifetime resident from Guild, TN.   She is the fiancé of Leonard Moore and they were to be married on Saturday, March 14th, 2020.    She had been employed previously with Big Horn as a saddle shop worker.   

Barbara’s world was being a devoted fiancé, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and most of all a loyal friend.     She cherished her time working in her flower beds, fishing, camping and enjoying the great outdoors.    Her passion was taking care of all her animals and sitting on the front porch each day, no matter what type of weather, to enjoy her coffee along with enjoying the wonders of God’s miracles.  She was also an avid University of Tennessee Vols fan.  Barbara was full of life along with being an important asset to all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Kay Simmons; grandmother, Margie Kerns and grandparents, Joe Allen and Francis G. Huff.

The loved ones left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Stephanie Dagnan (Josh), Tiffany Rogers and Jordan Moore (Austin Newton); father, Chester Lee Huff (Linda), fiancé, Leonard Moore; brother, Jeff Huff (Faye McFalls); grandson, Noah Dagnan; niece, Remington Brooke along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will have a visitation on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST/5:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST at Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, TN  37347.

Barbara will be laid to rest at a later date in a private ceremony.
