ANN STEPHENS
Ann Stephens, 86, of Jasper, Tennessee was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She was a resident of Cumberland Health & Rehab in Bridgeport, Alabama. Ann was of the Baptist faith and a member of Kimball Baptist Church.
On January 16, 1936, she was born to the late William Arthur Johnson and Ella Ashburn Johnson. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 54 years William Clyde Stephens, Jr. and sister, Ella Weese Johnson; brothers, W. L. (Bill) Johnson and Carlos R. Johnson.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children David Stephens, Zella (Darron) Carter, and Raymond (Megan) Stephens; grandchildren, Daniel (Jessica) Carter, Phillip Carter, Chris Stephens and Savannah Stephens; great-grandchildren, Presley Guess, Luke Stephens and Jett Carter; brother-in-law and sister in laws, Jimmy and Sue Stephens and Inez Johnson along with several nieces and nephews.
She was the owner and operator of Sequatchie Valley Florist in South Pittsburg, Tennessee for ten years after working at Marion Trust & Banking Company for twenty-six years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cumberland Health & Rehab and Enhabit Hospice for all the loving care that they gave.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Bruce Howland and Brother Brian Guess officiating.
Burial will be on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.
Pallbearers are Neil Bennett, Eli Blevins, Ronnie Hambrick, Ernie Harris, Dean Cartwright and Jimmy Blevins.
