Willie "Bunchy" Mae (Malone) Kelso

With the angels singing and the Lord calling its time to come home, Willie “Bunchy” Mae Kelso, at the age of 49 years old, gained her wings on Monday, December 2, 2019.     Bunchy was born on October 14, 1970 in Orrville, AL.    She lived in South Pittsburg her adult life with her husband and children.

Bunchy was feisty, loved to talk and most of all just loved being “Bunchy”.   Her mother, husband, and children were her treasures from God.   She enjoyed gardening and her household plants, loved her cats along with a great fondness being a true friend to those she loved.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Malone, Sr. and her sister, Mary Etta Adams.

Bunchy leaves behind to cherish her memories with her husband of 18 years, Johnny Kelso; mother, Ethel Jackson; daughters, Shammeonia Benson (Jamal) and Christy Green (Pierce); son, Dewayne Cobb; brothers, John “Dogg” Malone, Jr. and David Jackson, Jr.; sister, Gloria Tarrance; grandchildren, Aubree Benson, Adrian Green, Kayla Green and Pierce Green, II; sister in laws, Ethel Chubb, Marion McClendon, Virginia Mason (Paul), Peggy Chubb (Alfred) and Norma Spears;  aunt, Mattie Allen and Grace Sapp; special nephew, Travis Adams; special nieces, Natasha Strong, Tiffany Malone and Kaneesha Malone  along with a host of aunts, nephews, nieces and special friends.

The family will have visitation on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

A Memorial Service in honor of Bunchy will follow in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home after the visitation at 1:00 pm CT.

Bunchy will be laid to rest at a later date in a private ceremony with her family.
