Wade Coppinger

Wade Coppinger, a devout Christian, 71, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018.  He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.  He loved calligraphy, fishing, wood burning, writing his own poems, reading, and embroidering.  He served in both the Army and Navy from October 1966 to April 1976.  He was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Paul Coppinger; mother, Mary Katherine Tate Coppinger; brothers Elmer Ralph Coppinger and Billy Ray Coppinger.

Wade is survived by his brothers,  Benny(Linda)Coppinger and Stanley(Sue)Coppinger; sisters, Paulette Cleek Brown and Amy Coppinger.  He has several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2018 from 4:00 PM CST to 8 PM CST at Tate Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM CST in the chapel of the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers,  the family request a donation be made to either a cancer fund of your choice or your charity of choice in Mr. Coppinger's name.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Garden.

Arrangements are by Tate Funeral Home, LLC, Jasper, Tennessee.
