Samuel Robert "Bobby" Ferguson, Jr.

The Lord called Samuel Robert “Bobby” Ferguson, Jr., at the age of 59, home on Sunday, April 14th, 2019.    Bobby had lived in Jasper, Tennessee until he moved to Fackler, Alabama in 2002 when he married his bride, Denise Johnson Ferguson.  

He had been employed with Mohawk Industries where he worked as a winder technician.  Bobby loved his family, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, and most of all “Alabama” sports.   He was a huge “Roll Tide Fan”.   He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, gardening, and tinkering with mechanics.    His family knew him as a great comedian, loved playing jokes and most of all he was a true kid at heart.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Bulah Ferguson and his eldest son's mother, Nichelle Woody.

Treasured loved ones he will leave behind are his wife, Denise Ferguson; sons, Kalob (Stacey) Ferguson, Tyler and Charles Ferguson; daughter, Dakota Ferguson; brother, Ben W. (Lynn) Ferguson; sisters, Carolyn Ferguson, Brenda (Lynn) Ridge, Sharon (Ricky) Browder; granddaughter, Emilie Grace, special friends, Rick Blackwood, Joel Condra, Bernard Miller, Ronald Cooper,  Kevin Rodgers, Tony Coffman, and Stanley Reed along with nieces, nephews and host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee on Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm CDT.

The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel at Tate Funeral Home at 1:00 pm CDT on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019.

Bobby will be laid to rest at Pine Haven Cemetery in Hollywood, Alabama.
