Michael Pratt Finlayson

     Michael Pratt Finlayson, 49, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Sunday, September 17.  

Michael was a member of Messiah’s Bondservant Ministry, and was a chef and a long time employee of Whitwell Pizza.  Michael worked for many years at his mother’s restaurant, Annie’s, in Luverne, AL.

     Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Ann Finlayson; grandparents, Cecil and Casa Mae Cullip, of Mexico Beach, FL, and Margarite Finlayson, of Mariana, Fl; great grand parents, Marion Webster and Laura Mae Tate of Cartwright, TN.

     Michael leaves his father, Jack Finlayson; daughter Miranda Nicole DeHart; grand daughter Magnolia Marie Faye DeHart; sister Wendy Smith (Mark); brother David Cecil Finlayson (Jamie); aunt Jeanette Cullip Palmer; nieces Avery and Laney, nephew River, and many cousins to cherish his memory.

     A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. CST, on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Messiah’s Bondservant Ministry, in Cartwright, TN, with Brother William Dick officiating.   The family will receive friends following the service.
