Marlene Mae Jones

Marlene Mae Jones, 72, of Jasper, TN., passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Marlene was a member of Powell Crossroads Church of God. She was very giving and loving person. She loved to help others and loved her dogs.

She was born July 27, 1946 to the late Clyde and Esther Maria Hallenbeck Tyler. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Jean Boettcher; son, Jack Terry; sister, Betty Ann Tutor; brother, Floyd Tyler.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years George Jones; daughters, Kim Green and Terri Anne Terry; sons, Jerry Weyand and Calvin Stewart; sister, Rita Weinman; grandchildren, Brandon & Randell Stewart, Christina Gilliam, Brandi Jones, Shantay Jones, Anna Simmons, Crystal Stewart, Jessica Chase, Shantel, Randi and Jackson and special Grandson that was very dear to her heart Coby Cameron Stewart; several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. CST.

Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. CST with Pastor Brant Upchurch officiating.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
